1. The short version

This site sets analytics cookies through Google Analytics. It does not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social tracking widgets, and it does not sell data to anyone.

Analytics runs as soon as the page loads. The banner you may have seen at the bottom of the screen is a notice, not a consent gate — dismissing it records that you have seen it and nothing else. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a choice the site does not actually offer. The opt-outs in section 4 do work, and they work regardless of the banner.

2. What a cookie is here

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This site also uses localStorage, which works similarly. Both are covered by this notice.

3. What this site sets

Analytics — Google Analytics 4

• Cookies: _ga and _ga_<container>.
• Purpose: to count visitors, distinguish repeat visits from new ones, and see which pages get read and where people arrived from.
• Typical lifetime: up to 2 years.
• Set by: Google, on our behalf.

We use this to decide what to write more of. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have no interest in doing so.

Preferences — set by us

• Key: ds-cookie-notice in localStorage.
• Purpose: remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it does not reappear on every page.
• Lifetime: until you clear your browser data.
• Contains: the single word dismissed. No identifier, nothing about you.

Scheduling — Cal.com

If you open the booking modal, Cal.com loads and may set its own cookies to operate the scheduler. These are governed by Cal.com’s own cookie and privacy policies. They are not set unless you open the booking widget.

4. How to turn analytics off

Any one of these is enough:

• Google’s official opt-out add-on — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. It blocks GA across every site you visit, permanently.
• Browser tracking protection — Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection, Safari’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention, and Brave’s shields all block or restrict GA by default.
• A content blocker — uBlock Origin and similar extensions block the analytics script before it loads.
• Block cookies for this site — in your browser’s site settings. The site works fine without them; only the dismissed-notice memory is lost, so the banner will return on each visit.

Nothing on this site is gated behind accepting cookies, and blocking them does not degrade anything except the banner remembering itself.

5. Clearing what is already stored

Every browser can clear cookies and site data from its settings, usually under Privacy. Doing so removes both the Google Analytics cookies and our ds-cookie-notice key.

6. Changes
